Older Memories - Sailing Santa Marta, Colombia to Tintamarre, Colombia
She is a 53 ft. ketch with a beam of 15 feet and a draft of 6.5 ft. She has a 100hp Yanmar auxiliary diesel engine, Victron lithium batteries (800amp hours at 24 volts), a 7 KW generator and1200 watts of solar. Inside, we have all the comforts of home, including four refrigerators/freezers, microwave, clothes washer, GN Espace Induction cooktop and electric oven, watermaker, air conditioning and a full entertainment system. L'ORIENT has been our full time home since 2011 and we love every minute aboard.
