Neither of us grew up sailing but we have made up for lost time. After a weekend Sunfish course in Annapolis followed by bare-boating all over the world, we took the plunge and in 2010 bought our own boat. In late 2011, we sailed L'ORIENT from Annapolis to Tortola non-stop. In 2012 we took a year-long work sabbatical and sailed the Caribbean and to see if we liked the cruising life (incidentally, we did). We returned to the Caribbean in 2014 and spent six wonderful years exploring the entire region from the Bahamas, down the island chain and across to Bonaire, Colombia, San Andreas and Panama. In 2020 we went through the Panama Canal and sailed 28 days non-stop to the Marquesas, French Polynesia. COVID intervened while we were under way and we decided to sail on to Hawaii and spent the remainder of the year in Kuaui and Oahu. In April of 2021 we sailed back to French Polynesia making landfall in Tahiti. We intend to be in French Polynesia until April of 2023. There is nothing like life on a sailboat and we hope to show you a glimpse of our adventures.
